How it all began...
An “incredible” princess moves in and a “loving” breed is born...

I remember it as if it were only yesterday when I was sitting in my hotel room in Johannesburg, SA, for work reasons, and received the email from our chosen breeder, Silvia Peters, from Contessa, about the litter announcement from July 29, 2017 (1H, 4R).
I contacted my husband at home via internet telephony - thank God there was no time difference. We exchanged the first photo that Silvia had sent me. And we agreed immediately. It should be this puppy. But 4 males and 1 female??? We didn't even know who was who?! But the inner voice and the intuition we received hit the bull's eye, despite the 1,000s of kilometers away. In this case, the white and brown!
A white ear, a brown ear, and brown on the face, as well as white on the body and this expression on the face, which is already present after 2 days, brought us…
UNBELIEVABLE LILLI FEE VON CONTESSA. The perfect name for our sweet little princess.
But it took a while until she arrived. In the 5th week, after receiving countless photos and video clips, I was finally able to see her in person for the first time and visited the family in Berlin.
It was exciting and impressive at the same time. And it really was love at first sight. Another three weeks passed and the long-awaited move-in date arrived.
Immediately after a trip abroad and returning to Frankfurt, I decided to travel straight on to Berlin and pick up Lilli Fee the next day.

I arrived at the Peters' early morning and she was already waiting for me eagerly. From that moment on it was clear to her: I'm going to be a STYRIAN. Come on, let's get going.
With a planned short stopover in Frankfurt, we were supposed to go straight to Graz. My husband waited there with our three boys and then we were supposed to go home together. But! Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, because after we, Lilli and I, arrived at Berlin-Tegel airport with our suitcase and the dog backpack, we found out that the departure could be delayed by about an hour. One hour turned into 2.5 and it was immediately clear to me that I wouldn't be able to make the connecting flight to Graz. And that was the case, and so Lilli and I had to get through almost 5 hours at Frankfurt-Main airport. No problem, because FRA is also my place of work and Lilli got to know it straight away. In Austria, I just held my husband back at home with the car and kept him up to date. And in the end, everything went well. Although we landed in Graz 6 hours late, we were greeted by my husband, who was also on cloud nine and was greeted enthusiastically by Lilli. And the 3 boys, who weren't particularly enthusiastic about the little thing at first. But this didn't bother Lilli Fee and as soon as she arrived at her new home it was clear: I'm the girl, I'm small, I'm a baby, from now on I'm in charge. Well, not much has changed since then, except that she's a lady now and the two big ones (Simba and Bashir) no longer run away from her, but cuddle with her and the little one (Diego) lies at her feet.

And who would have thought that two years later she would become the foundation for our loving breeding and today in 2020 she is the most successful bitch in Europe. Simply INCREDIBLE,...
